The Bay of Porto Miggiano is located within a U-shaped inlet overlooking the sea. It is also known as the beach of 100 steps because you have to walk about 100 steps to get to the beach.

The sea is very clear and clean with different shades of colour due to the depth of the water and the type of seabed. The seabed is rocky towards the shore, where the rocks create a natural frame that protects the cove from the winds and ensures that the water is always clean and calm. However, where the rocks thin out, you can admire a sandy bottom.

The place is ideal for long swims and intense baths but also for boat trips. Organized excursions along the coast are very common which allow you to enjoy a wonderful view of the rocky coast at reasonable prices and which include stops for long baths near the suggestive caves.
